When can we expect books two?

At the earliest, end of 2026. Most likely, third quarter of 2027.

I grew up on Star Trek: The Next Generation. As a young child, I, of course, was not allowed to watch programs that were TV-14, TV-MA, R-rated, or at that time, even PG-13. Star Trek: The Next Generation shaped the person I am today. It opened my mind to so many possibilities. It helped grow my curiosity in science. But, most of all, it provided role models in life, something I didn't have in the family I grew up in. My childhood was horrific. But, without Star Trek: The Next Generation, I don't even want to imagine what it would have been like for me.

When I saw Star Trek was coming back with Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard, I was ecstatic! However, the moment that I learned that these shows would be rated TV-MA, it caused sadness. So many young children that would never be exposed to the adventures of Star Trek! With the F-word being used in both Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard, I would never have been allowed to watch these shows growing up. And that is why I decided to have two versions of the same book. One without the adult language and strong sexual scenes, which is made for all ages. And another, for adults. The adult version is for older teens on up. Adults use strong language, we have sex, and it should not be removed from books. However, that doesn't mean young children should be reading that type of material. And that is why I wrote two versions.
